INTERIOR SHOT, BRIDGE OF THE POLARIS-A

Captain Megyeri is looking over her crew. She has a mischievous grin on her face. Through her perspective we get a glimpse of the new bridge and crew.

Capt. Megyeri, in elevated spirit: So, you guys wanna see how she flies?

EXTERIOR SHOT OF THE POLARIS-A

The starship's nacelles flare up with blue light. The ship jumps to Warp speed as the classic Polaris theme fades into an instrumental rendition of "Carouselambra" by Led Zeppelin.

The Polaris-A, flying through a subspace corridor of blue-white-gold streaks of light.

Lt. Stratton and Lt. Song of Hannah on a distant, forlorn world. Song places a shining hand on Stratton's chest, saying in a somber voice: You echo with a dirge without end.

Capt. Megyeri, in a pleading voice: You know I'm not the enemy.

The Polaris-A, flying past something so fast that everything else is blurred. Her phaser emitters fire bolts of energy while her shields flare up with incoming hits.

Lt. Cmdr. Russel wiping his sweaty forehead. He is in a Jeffries tube, with a panel with a warning label in red next to him, reading Antimatter containment unit, do not open. He reaches out to the panel with a trance-like expression on his face.

The Polaris-A, in orbit of a bioluminescent, living planet.

The crew, looking at the living planet through the bridge viewscreen, with child-like wonder on their faces.

Capt. Megyeri reaching out, putting her arms around the necks of Lt. Cmdr. Halloran and Dr. Krista, pulling them into a hug. Megyeri and Halloran are laughing, Krista's face is pure cringe.
