Very very good! (Crappy indeed, you sell yourself short!) I'm pretty sure you used GIMP 2 for the background and it is a very nice blending to get the original CGI effect. Speaking of CGI, wonderful ship as usual. Too bad Kirk only got 5.37 second in the command chair...
All in all, very well done!

Heh, IΒ call it the Hamsterprise because the secondary hull looks like a hamster with it's cheek pouches stuffed to the brim, BTWΒ I still remember the lines.

I thinkΒ he madeΒ the "Fanon" version because the Enterprise-B was the Excelsior Model reused andΒ Dave wanted to create something Unique. My guess is that in the Polarisverse The Enterprise-B gets the flare pieces removed due to how much of an unacceptable risk it was discoveredΒ to be.
