Oh my, I hope they don't accidentally initiate a time warp via breakaway factor.

The high intensity bombardment from the solar eruption flares against the enterprises shields as she swoops through near the corona

This is what Star Trek online is missing. High risk scientific endeavors. Ones that don't end with the usage of phasers or deflector discharges. But pure scientific research that in the process of doing looks epic. Something like this would make an interesting side mission or mini game. I mean while combat missions are fun and all I would love to play a mission that involved a scientific mystery that has doing this as a part of it. Or a return to the remains of Genesis.

I think this is really good. Science was a big part of Enterprise's job.

Great work, not many people think of star trek when space comes to mind. Unless its an awesome geek.

I can just imagine David Attenborough narrating this exquisite scene.

Spectacular effect and I love the idea of sampling a solar flare! It's something they may well have done on their 5 year mission. Β
