No, they are not side by side. The Norway is above the Akira, just look at how part of it obscures the Akira.

I maybe wrong but you dont get to see much of the Norway class in any of the series or movies, which is a shame, but you've done it justice here, alongside the defiant and Akira class

You are completely right. The single CGI model got corrupted durign the filming of First Contact, and the official CGI Team never re-built it. All that exists today are fan-built models.

Just wonder if the director said ok we will do with out it due to time constraints, but if they had te time I would have got the cgi team to do it again

Indeed she is. The biggest problem is that the original filming CGI model was lost due to a computer malfunction. Hence, no Norway in later series/movies.

I don't think so. They say the battle scenes are still existing as raw CGI files. All they need to do is re-render them in high resoluton.
