I never saw that one, because I really hate the Borg. Realistically, Starfleet would have given Picard a medal and a nice pension after he was unplugged from the Borg collective but they'd have never let him near any Starfleet tech or intelligence just to prevent any chance that he could be reactivated, as the queen tried.
