this is just beautiful!!! there expressions are simply astonishing and it perfectly shows why this is my favorite couple on young justice. i can see Roy as being able to see how much Kal is drowning under the responsibility of team leader and hurting becouse of the lack of care his team showes him. And being the awesome person Roy is he would never let Kal fall.

Because there is not possible way that Roy is saving Kal from drowning, I'm gonna go ahead and take this as a metphor for Roy saving Kaldur from drowning in the pressure he feels as a leader, the neglect he feels from his teammates always (even though he know's they don't mean to) assuming that he's invincible and never needs a hand or a shoulder to cry one, and the regection he still feels over the fact that Tula, the girl of his dreams who was also one of his greatest friends, hooked up with his other BEST FRIEND, and the dact this all would have been avoided if he wasn't such a good, wonderful, selfless person.
So, yeah. If that's not how you meant it, I'm sorry for projecting.
Also, Roy and Kaldur's expressions. They are breaking my heart, and sewing it back together again with JOY and ADORATION.
