I like the claws idea! You have a few too many bright colours. Maybe soften the colours a little and/or eliminate a couple? The neons on a black/dark grey base colour works nicely.

I love the constructive criticism, but I recently dealed with someone saying the same thing and got angry at me for saying something, so I don't really take constructive criticism that much anymore, but I will put this into consideration.
