At long long last, a prize for *AnnieMsson which she won in =boribaby 's contest ages ago!

For her prize *AnnieMsson asked me to draw her character (who has no name at present) with my own interpretations for her markings as a horse. I hope you like what I came up with!

I decided that for the background I really wanted something that would contrast with the colours of this character so I thought a black sandy beach (though I'm not sure it turned out quite how I wanted it to). But, I think my shading is getting better, I just need to work on shading with markings and on my backgrounds. I'm getting there. Slowly and yes that is supposed to be steam rising from the volcanic rocks, sorry it doesn't look like it much -_-
