Description OK, here is my basic little engine in flash...find your ammo, move with the number pad -make sure "Num Lock" is on Should play in the browser...let me know if you have any issues playing! This was a much more difficult port to the flash than I anticipated and I am a little miffed with Clickteam, as awesome as MMF2 is, they have some issues with their *.SWF export....I had to do away with some more complex stuff that I wanted to do, but maybe with time I can add it in. I am planning on adding some real map graphics soon...anyway, please play it, test it, beat the snot out of it! Thanks!

Yeah....them gooey big head monsters got me....only since it was no ammo around as much....where is my drop-off box of bullets for these things. When i run out of
Ammo is when it like 10 of them after me....well, not me....but "Tish". I know it ruff to start from way back...i got about 20 on the first try...but i hope they choke on

You such a "FOOL" for this one....., looks like i have to stop by or find a way into this game like "Ready Player One" with Tish to save
her hyde...maybe then she won't chase me down so much. If i save her five lives...and we do this together as a "Team" but hell no i ain't wearing
no dang "CatSuit" for her....she got that one, since she looks soooooo much feline-y in it for meh. But so hard to stop watching her back or front when
i got Chompers to kill....i need someone to watch my back also.

I initially chose the number pad because I felt it was the best way to work with 8 directional movement in an "isometric" game...to date, that has been the biggest complaint so far, and, as such, I am reworking the game to use the arrows.Β  In the meantime, you could try this:

You can actually use a number pad on your laptop with those keys...I have not tested it and no one that I have provided the link to has responded but I would like to know if it works...technically, it should but it may not.Β  Thanks, I will hopefully update with the revamped version soon.

I am working on that...until then, you could try this method (it turns out keyboards without number pads can emulate that functionality...I have not tested this, but I would like to know if it actually works)

Well, first off, the enemy generators are too high in count, and are overactive.


Also, ammo should NOT be lost when you die (doesn't happen in real life unless it's stolen from you-not possible here).


Another thing is that you have the 'enemy swarm' issue. If you're looking to make a better balanced game, the enemy limit should be less than the maximum amount of ammo you can carry (since the ammo limit is already a low 8 the enemy limit should be 4 or 5).


It is also difficult to find the green square, should you happen to kill 50 enemies (also too high).


The fact that the ammo regenerates in any random location makes an enemy swarm hard to mitigate. Appropriate fix would be to have multiple regeneration spots that disappear once the ammo is picked up.


Yes, I agree, you should be made to hold down buttons to continuously walk, rather than to press a button to cancel movement.


I had no issue with browser play, but this game was quite difficult.


To rate this on a 10 point scale...


Overall difficulty: 4/5 (VERY HARD)

Enemy overall difficulty: 3/5 (HARD)

Enemy kill difficulty: 1/5 (EASY-one shot kill)

Enemy count difficulty: 4/5 (VERY HARD-enemy swarm)


Player/playability: 3/5 (Decent)

Aiming: 5/5 (Auto-based upon direction faced)

Vulnerability: 2/5 (Very vulnerable-one touch kill)


Ease of Controls: 2/5 (HARD)

Ease of Playability: 3/5 (MODERATE)


Overall rating of game: 6/10


It needs some work, but it's not a complete flop.


Mostly what it needs is balance work.

In truth, most games get easier the further you progress.


(Like, in RPGs and Action games with upgradeable skills)


Since this is a single level game, it should be made for those who aren't quite able to play well until they get used to it.


Most gamers aren't veterans these days, and though I am an exception, ladies like myself are few and far in between.


Also, the fact that you use the 10-key pad for everything introduces a whole different challenge to those who would use a mouse to point and shoot (like in Half-Life, Unreal Tournament, etc etc).


But at any rate, it's good, not great, and nothing (I repeat NOTHING) is ever 'perfect'. (What the hell is perfect anyway!?)

My favorite iSpy game with the smexy catsuit'ed vixen again....but without the DL....kewl stuff pal....im so happy & glad to know you use this model for the game....i really like to say that alot. P.S. The game is still pretty good....but i think the walk is a lil more choppy or something from the other one i have DL...more walking smooth like...that the only part i see that could use the help at. Hey, better keep there greedy teeth off of her...or they going to be eating through a tube.... .

That is a possibility that I considered...I may be able to work that in as a control "option"...maybe it takes some getting used to but for me it seemed rather natural to press and release the key...allowing to be ready to change direction or shoot. thanks for playing and providing feedback, I appreciate it!

After playing for just a very brief time it seems like a good basic idea, though needs a fair bit of work still. Only really "issue" I've seen thus far is the movement feels really clunky, but with some practice I can prolly get used to that. I do very much more to see you work on it some more and get it nice and polished.

I was half referring to the use of the number pad and half referring to the difficulty of turning on a dime.

It feels like I should be playing it with a Playstation controller.

I'd suggest changing the shoot button, having it right in the middle is somewhat awkward.

you do realize you do not need to tap numbers in sequence, don't you?Β  if you are moving in the "9 direction" (up right) you can type any other key and immediately flip that direction!Β  maybe that will help...the game appears 3d so I see what you mean about the controller but after some experimentation I felt the number pad was the least of the evils to capture 8 direction motion.Β  I will see about adding another key as an option to shoot...a good idea.Β  Thanks!
