I've always had a soft spot for the hulk. My grandad used to put put on his cut off shorts and a ripped shirt and scare us kids pretending to be the hulk. any how, with the new movie coming up I just had to put all that down on paper.dig it.

He is one of my all time favorite characters so I really try to do a great job whenever I draw him

nice- i started my career at marvel inking todd macfarlanes hulk- funny thing----i hate drawing the character but love inking him- go figure

the Hulk is just one of those great characters. ya gotta love him. Inking Todd must have been really cool or was he that big of a deal back then?

he was on the cusp of greatness- everyone knew he was gonna be big- no one knew how big tho'!- i was just a snot nosed beginner and was more into traditional inking- kept trying to "fix" todds pencils at first- but once i stopped fighting them, it was kinda fun

Awesome pic. And man I'm so excited about the new movie...when I first heard they were doing it..I was like "Oh gosh...did they not learn their lesson already!?" But when I started to keep up with it..and then when I saw the first trailer..I was like "YES! This is the treatment that the Hulk deserives!" I picked up on all the little refrences to the 70's tv show...like how Banner's eyes turned green in the preview...and how they shadowed out everything but his eyes at that point..just like how they did it with Bixby. I even heard that Marvel went so far as to buy the rights for The Lonely Man Theme so it could be used in the movie. That's so awesome.
I also like how they picked a darker shade of green for the hulk..and that he's not going to be only CG this time. I also like that he's not going to grow bigger the madder he gets. I'm certainly looking forward to it. And you know my friend...Marvel has announced that after the release of the new Hulk movie and the Iron Man movie that they are going to begin work on a Captain America movie
