I'm drawing a mental line down that top facepic. On the left, he looks so derp. On the right, he looks so "Oh hey, dinner's here!"
And that's one of the best things about Tama, isn't it? More than one expression at the same time! XD
And below, oh, poor Tama. That is not where a flower crown is supposed to go!

Haha, I havn't even thought about that myself! But YES, that's what makes him so darn fun to draw! His eyes don't need to go the same way as his face, and they're independent from each other, too! Then his big, expressive, toothy mouth.. and his antennae that can be adjusted to convey his emotional state (kinda like eyebrows). His design made me find my passion to draw again! And I've improved so much over these past months, it's actually quite amazing..!

I was going to have it on his head, but then I realized how small his head actually is, so I crammed it down his face instead! C:

Maybe it's like tree rings, you get one every year! Chins are actually a sign of age - the more you have, the wiser you get.
