Don't do that...you'll hurt yourself.

Wow. I am so glad I swung by to look at this. You did a wonderful job! I'm still trying to decide if I like the color or the black n' white. They're both so meaningful.

Thank you. And as long as it's got you thinking we're doing okay!

The things I've done in the past, I'm walking the line right now let me tell you.

Well I really don't understand the concept, could you help me?

Sure, if you tell me you like it first!

What I was first seeing while I was working on it was two very symmetrical and natural arches; gateways to me. I could see all the way through to the 'field' through the gates.

You can look at it as the after life, or what you're living now; eye of the beholder. To me, we walk through time and life, symbolized by the arches/gates in this case. The steps are leading you down, giving me a sense of no return; think rolling down a hill.

The most prominent part: the coloured vs. the non-coloured world. To me, whatever decisions you make now; whatever actions you take now will present only two options. You end up walking a darker, unhappier path due to the 'bad' decisions you've made in life. Or you end up walking a more colourful and happier path, in this case the side on the right.

If this was a more philosophical conversation, as opposed to a 'black and white' photograph, I would have many other ways of looking at this. Some would even contradict my stated opinions.

But for the sake of this one photograph, that's all I had in mind. I'm glad you asked and I hope you look at it in whatever way it makes sense to you now.

Thank you. I didn't think this one would catch your attention. I'm glad it did. Much credit should go to *SingingBlackbird as well. She helped me with some very important photographic technicalities.
