Enjoy this pure slapjob done by 3ds max.I made two versions of this. In this one, the textures are reflective. However, it gives away too much detail, thereby removing the aspect of simplicity inherited by cubes.
The other one has a plastic-like texture, yet I like this one better.
Made in like 30 minutes.

I am so jealous of your abilities. I can't evolve past Sketchup, and it can't even render like this without plugins. >_>

I do have to point out that I just make a bunch of cubes, slapped on a mirror texture, and added a blue light.
I believe that you can do that, but I'm not sure about this Sketchup thing. Perhaps you can try blender or something else.

Actually, I was kind of refering to your abilities to use such a high quality 3D designing program. When I said I "can't evolve past Sketchup", I meant I didn't have the skills to use a program more complex such as what is being used here.

Even as Voodo explained to you the difference between a cube and a square, I used neither of them. I used objects known as "ChamferBoxs," Cubes that has smooth edges.

There is a difference between a square a cube, good sir :U A cube consists of 6 planes containing two dimensional squares, linked together in such a way that makes it an object that contains the 3-dimensions of space, width, height, and depth. Thus a cubes can be squares, but squares can not be cubes.
