My Contest entry for *Zerna 's contest to make a member for Tex's gang! I was just going to put her up for adoption, but I though I would take the opportunity ^^

*Edit 2* sorry for so many edits guys, I'm sure it's annoying and I'm truly sorry, but I just have to update her. I've been thinking about her almost constantly and it seems her story has begun to develope itself in my brain. Interesting, no?

Name: Del-C
Race: Irken
Gender: Female
Age: 94
Height: 4'6
Wieght: 70 lbs
Occupation: Navigator

Personality: Shy and conservative. Constantly worried , but is witty and quick thought.

Backstory: Del-C was born into the resisty. She was raised happily and outspoken.She went on her first prison raid at age 60 (around 6 in human) with a group of others around the same age. In the raid to release prisoners from the slave facility, the Irken guards over took the small recovery group, killing everyone in the group, besides Del-C and three others slightly older than her. They were taken bal to irk, to be brainwashed and trained. They were unsuccesesfull in the brainwashing of the older children, and they resisted training to the point of death. They were pursecuted and killed. But Del-C's brainwashing was succesfull. She was trained and gained skills that she had learned to be sins in her previouse life. She was promoted to be a Kamakazi pilot, which took an additional 3 years of training. But after so long of training, Del- C's brainwashing had begun to wain. She began to feel wronge about killing even the practice dummies, and soon enough, even the click of a gun reloading made her cringe. They day of her graduation, she an her mates where shown a video of an actual Kamakazi pilot, destroying a vortion ship. As Del-C's watched in unmoving horror, her wash finially snapped. She remembered clearly the raid, her parents, and the death of her friends. She waited quietly as her ship was assigned. Once carefully strapped into her supposed deathtrap, she fled, flying long and hard into the pitch of space. She floated for weeks, slowly starving, dehydrating, and watching for life. She momentarily lost ability to see or move, and continued her cold journey blinde. Days after she lost her sight, she crash landed on a mysterious orange planet. She flew out of her ship, skidding face first on the orange soil with her eye open (for her eyelids couldn't move) she layed there overnight, her pack slowly healing her torn body. As her eyes, last of all to heal, begun to rejuvinate, some mineral stuck to the tissue, turning her red eyes copper. She slowly picked herself up, limping helplessly into a small, strange town. She wandered into a pub, hoping to find solitude and help. She saw Tex in a barfight, struggling, but surely having the upperhand. But another strange creature, a brute to the man Tex was fighting, ganged up on him, knocking him over the head with a beer keg. He fell, and his original opponent pulled his gun, as his brutes held Tex down. Befor he could grasp the trigger, Del-C had pulled her gun, shakingly calling to the man to hold fire. Chuckling, the man begun to approach her. "Well lil' ma'am, watcha gon' do iffin' I dun-" She had shot him befor he could finish his last word, and continued to shoot until his face drained pale, and the floorboards had soaked up an amount of blood that could never be cleaned away. She held a shaky hand to Tex, feeling comfort in the fact he was another irken.

Fun facts!;

-Could take place of a pilot if in an emergency, although she's a bit skittish about pilotting (brings back memories of, erm...training for death baisicly)

- Has a slight tick in her eyes, as the get agitated easily and are very sensitive to bright lights and vibrations (yes, vibrations)

- Those marking by her eyes aren't part of her eyelash. They're actually tattoo's to represent her status. Kinda like the elite's tat.

- although not skilled with hand guns/rifles/ect. She's quiet knowledgable in ship guns and lazors.

- has a pirate fetish. (don't ask)

-Has a gap in her front teeth. She pulled up the colas to hide it and is quiet sensitive and embarresed about it

- Skips instead of walks when nervous.

-Very flexible, for instance, she can put her head between her legs

- inverted knees (think ducks)

ok, so, the rest of the story depends on if she gets picked or not xD if so, it will be continued on how she first thought about life with the gang, ect.
