The part 2 off 2!But seriouslly Murtagh was the only reason that I didn't walk out in the middle of the movie -.-" Even though he is my 11th favorite does not change the fact that he is a strong character and just down right awsome.

Ugh the movie. I'm a diehard Eragon fan and that movie makes me sick to the stomach.

One I hard the movie was coming out I was so happy. But then when I saw the actor for eragon had blond hair, I knew it was going to be bad and I wouldn't allow myself to see it because it would ruin my experience with the book.

Why noone talks about the dragons hideous design in the movie ill never know. They wrecked the wings bigtime. They're not goddamn feathers. They're supposed to be bat-like membrane you can slightly see through.

I just finished rereading the book last night, and just happened to come across the movie as I was flipping through channels. I still don't know why I chose to watch that horrible movie, about two minutes in I was already screaming at the TV.

Agreed on all accounts. To me though, the only reason that I didn't walk out of the theater (I actually went to see it in theaters with my mom and sis) was the CGI. The only reason. Everything else pretty much sucked urgal balls.

The only reason I didn't walk out of the movie was cause of Saphira. (It's been so long since I read the books, I dunno if I spelled that right) Despite the fact they gave her BIRD WINGS, I liked how they made her (Except when she went from a hatchling to a grown up dragon in less then 30 seconds) and I enjoyed Rachel Weisz' voice acting her.
Other then that, this movie was absolutely crap. I grew up reading the first three books (I haven't gotten to the last one yet) and while I enjoyed playing the video game for the X-box, I like to pretend the film never happened.

When I first saw this, I wanted to comment on how awesome it was (is) so baldy. But alas, I did not have a deviantart account back then... BUT NOW I DO!
So, I will say it: THIS IS AWESOME! The only reason I didn't walk away in the middle of the movie was because Murtagh came.

This is why I always read books first... You can't trust directors and actors to get the story across accurately, convincingly or understandably half the time. As far as I can tell the movie was just an excuse to swing swords around and practice making a CGI dragon.
