Of course, I didn't managed to stay fully true to "same media" rule that I wanted to pursue - this latest remake uses black marker exclusively, whereas oldest version used ordinary ballpoint pen to not only fill out thick marker lineart with basic gradient, but also to fully draw water surface and background. As at that time ballpoint pen was used frequently to compensate for lack of confidence, it had no place here for obvious reasons.

It's looking good so far. It'll be fun to compare the original and the new ones when your done...to see how much you've grown.
