This mornings bento, Funny story actually, my alarm didn't go off, so i was a bit scared i wouldn't get to make my llunch. But in the send i made my fav this week lol.Teir one- Sultanas, with a small salad of cherry tomatoes (flowers ) Pine apple, rocket and lettuce and red capsicum with sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Yummy
Second teir- Fruits , banana in skin (something new to keep it fresh), with watermelon and kiwi fruit shaped into flowers. (so so so cute) (no sesame seeds on this one lol)
And of course the notorious POCKY! Never leave with out it.

*sigh* i feel so out of the loop, i wish i could aford a bento box, i'm stuck using recycled tuperware from my mom's takeout. i wish i knew where i could find an afordable one

LOL, a great idea is to use Coloured tupper ware containers, they are so cute lol. But depending on where you are, china towns are great, as well as ebay. But search around, hopefully you'll be able to find something. Thankyou so much for commenting.

Well i found some Rubbermaid sandwich containers for 50 cents each, so I can make do till i can convince someone that paying forty dollars for a lunch box is a "good" investment and would make a "wonderful" gift for me, lol. Also, I made my first onigiri last night. I made pizza ones because i... persuading... yeah, persuading my roommate to make them with me, she's not really into Japanese much, she likes Chinese food but who doesn't. She thinks they where good but the price of Japanese rice is so ridiculous that she wont me doing it with me again. Mine were a little lopsided, and seem to have one dull point and two goods ones... and i learned that nori does not go with pizza... should have known better but i was just so exited about making some i wanted my first to look authentic.

LOl, sounds great lol, Oh and i can provide a solution to having to spend heaps on sushi rice, You can use Aborio rice (spelt probably nothing like that lol) but its a short grain rice and works just as well as sushi rice (infact you can use any short grain rice at all, because its the shortness of the grain that makes it so deliciously sticky). Oh and PIZZA onigiri's sound so unbelieveable delicious lol.
