Description
These are the first two strips (2 of 9) of a short comic I'm doing, story, art and color, for a comic humour magazine called Safarir. It shall be written in french, I just made it english here for your convenience.The title is ''Scooby-Doo takes the Detour on Teletoon''. Teletoon is our cartoon network here in Canada, and ''The Detour on Teletoon'' is the time, in the evening, when they show the more adult cartoons like Billy & Mandy, Family Guy, Tripping the Rift, Delta State, Bromwell High and Undergrads. This short comic I'm doing will show all of them interacting together.

um... before Teletoon at Night in 2003 there were two nightime blocks, The Detour is formerly for Teenagers (Billy and Mandy, Family Guy, The Tick etc.) and Teletoon Unleashed for ADULT AUDIENCES.

... Why is it called Scooby-Doo if it's about Billy and Mandy?
By the way, I love your comic! It looks like you put a lot of effort into it, and it's VERY well done.

Because in this story, Scooby Doo is the only kids cartoon, and he gets recruited by Mandy to do a little detective work to solve a mystery, (that's what Scooby Doo does, right ?) and he gets kinda traumatised by the way adult cartoons behaves.

That's weird, because Billy and Mandy is a kids cartoon where I am. Although it probably shouldn't be because of all the 'hidden adult jokes' in it.
That'd be funny if Scooby-Doo got all traumatized. I really don't like that cartoon, you see.

I must thank all of the people who made webpages about all of these shows and included quotes from them. I only know the french version of their speech patterns, and it's mostly adapted to the culture of the country it's translated into. (The Simpsons + Bromwell High + Undergrads + Delta State are translated in Quebec, while Family Guy + Tripping the Rift + Billy & Mandy are translated in France.)
