Guess who's back?
This is for all of you who wouldn't stop nagging me about where these two went to.
As you can see they do look a bit different now, I decided that if I'm going to draw these two again, I might as well make a few changes to them.

So enough about that shit, let talk about what really mattered in the first place, Ink and Ruby.
Like I said above, Ink and Ruby have gone through some changes, both psychically and storyline wise, and I'll be listing a few of those down for those who have been following these two for the longest time.

Let's start with Ruby:
For one, her belt has changed.
She has been the MMA Women's Middleweight Champ for over ten years now, so I thought it'd be a good idea to update her belt and make it look fancy plus more blet like; I blame all the Botchamania I was watching for her new belt.
She still is defending her title to this day and has now gone down in the records as "Woman longest to hold a title belt in Fighting".
Also, her little medal around her neck, it's nothing big, it's only her Equestrian Games Gold Medal in Karate that's all.
The ideas popped in my head when Season 3 of MLP teased the idea of the Equestrian Games, and we finally got to see it pay off in Season 4.
Seeing how there were Griffons present at the EG's it's safe to say any species pony or not was allowed to attend in the games, so I had Ruby sign up for the Karate portion of the games, and it safe to say she cleaned house.
She also has a new fighting outfit, kinda took heavy inspiration from Asuka Kazama's default (Player 1) outfit, which ironically was based off of a real life Japanese Women's wrestler.
Now she has the nice little medal to show her other fighters the she is the real deal.
For other things Ruby has done, she has been a part-time voice actor in some of Ink's animation projects and new upcoming series, she rather likes doing it as she gets to try out new things and spend even more time with her hubby.
And now the major change on Ruby if you haven't noticed by now, yes, Ruby has the big forearms and more canine like face.
She is now what my other know-it-all friend likes to say is a "Real" Diamond Dog now.
At first as I was very apprehensive to make this change to her, seeing how I tried to draw her like this before in practice sketches and it was to my liking one bit...
However, when I finally did it this time and had time to draw other things, I think this look now finally fits Ruby.
So this'll be a permanent change as for whenever I should next draw her, she'll look like this from now on.

Now on to Ink Heart:
For Ink Heart, the first thing is his armband, that says "Manager" on it.
I know I joked about Ink Heart being Ruby's Manager in the past, but I guess Ruby thought it was a great idea, as Ink Heart is now officially her Manager.
Now Ink gets to accompany his wife to everyone of her fights at she gets to go to and cheer her on as she beats the snot out of the other girls.
As for Ink's art skills, they finally paid off as he got to make his own private animation studio called "Blotty Splashes" who have started out with artwork for video games like New Knight Knockers EX and teamed up with Gold Dust studio to work on the last few Battling Bunny Bot games; they even got in some new character designs for that game.
Blotty Splashes even got to have the chance to voice act the characters they made in game.
As for the fate of Super Grumpy Friends sadly with everyone busy with their own lives, and Ink's life with being Ruby's Manager and head of a private animation studio, he couldn't find too much time to work on SGF and the show slowly faded away into obscurity.
Not being one to let things die off, Ink was able to save the show by giving it new management.
He gave the show over to a small group of gamer friends he knew for the longest time and let them have at it and wanted to see if they could do anything with it.
After awhile of work and the proper equipment to record video and audio feeds, New Super Grumpy Friends was relaunched by Marmalade's two older twin brothers Lemonade and Limeade and the small group of gamer now called "The Sourheads Group"
To Ink's surprise, the show seemed even more successful than before.
From time to time, Ink, Ruby, and some of the others come by to record with the new crew just for old times sake.

Okay, there, I gave more story on Ink and Ruby to prove that haven't forgotten about these two.
So but happy that I drew them for once and maybe I'll remind myself to draw them a little more often if this picture goes over well enough.
