very nice. great lighting and color. only problem i can see is the birds around the assassin look odd. they're constructed well its just they are too close to her(?) or something. messes with the depth.

I find it so hard to do that in photoshop!

It helps to have a library of texture brushes that you like - I usually only use about 5-6 with any kind of frequency, but I've played around with a lot to figure out what I like. Try combing through Conceptart or various other sites - some people have put a lot of brushes up in the past so that other people can experiment, and you might find a handful that you like to tweak a bit and use for your own work.
