Great stuff, Gurch. You really have a unique painting style that makes the image not look like typical digital stuff.
Also love the way the guys arm looks like its part of the zombies legs!

Howdy Shane, im glad you enjoy this image and thanks for leaving a comment. Yeah i try to loose the digital look as best i can, mainly by starting the drawing stage in traditional pencils and paper, and then trying to leave the final image a little rougher than total digital work.
I am planning on posting a tutorial if and when i get the chance to do so.

I find it a pain to draw using pencil & paper ever since I first discovered digital all those moons ago - the idea of not being able to flip an image horizontally or having to physically use a real life eraser gives me a migraine!
Fair play to ya for being able to meld the two styles so well

I didnt know how/when/if it was coming out. Recently I got an enthusastic email from an Australian reader and didnt have a clue what he was on about!!
( its back to the drawing board regards the actual cover of my Pits)
Yeah, I'm a dark horse when it comes to my background and achievements. I often get requests for interviews and have always declined however this book filled pages with Gurch facts - just from reading it you probably know more about me than me!

Oh no sir, easy mistake to make.
You see what happened was that grave robber and the night ghoul both had the misfortune to choose the same night to raid this fresh plot and on this night their paths crossed.
A fearful fight ensured, the dispicable grave robber used his trusty axe and the ghoul armed himself with an arm.
(I know this because I happened to be present and took the opportunity to sit and paint them.)

It was exposure to those very same PC Twisted Tales and Master of Macabre that left me demented!!
Alien Worlds, Bruce Jones, Arthur Sydam..zombies.. etc...etc....they all became soup in my head.
