First, I'd just like to say that you put much more effort into backgrounds than most artists at your same skill level. That's going to be an awesome advantage you have as you learn more.
I think a lot of your art has a bit of a lack of depth, and that is a fairly easy thing to fix. Try to look at the objects as 3D shapes, especially the table and chairs. You can find a lot of free perspective tutorials on youtube. Trying some shading would also help with the depth. If no shading is your style, there are other ways (such as more lines to indicate different values) to create depth.
What I do when trying to improve is look at artists that are only slightly more skilled than I am, so it doesn't intimidate me or seem impossible to achieve. When you branch out, it will surprise you how much you're really capable of.

Thank you for taking the time to review my work! This, as well as the other 4 parts of it, was a collab of images done by both me, and my good friend awesomesir . He did the original sketches, and I just provided lineart and coloring, so I'd say most of the credit should go to him. The first coloring is more akin to something out of real life, and the second (Which is the one you see here.) is based off the colors seen in the Atari 2600 game it's based off of. I've recently switched to Paint Tool SAI, and I'm opening up more to shading. However, I decided against it for this pic because I enjoy the flat color aesthetic, and also because I thought it would better match the source material, as the original graphics of the Atari were flat colors as well. Again, credit to Awesomesir, and thank you for taking the time to critique my work.
