I have seen another world, A world of darkness and despair. A world where the sun never shines, And the shadows never flee.
A world where the creatures are twisted And the plants are poisonous. A world where the air is thick with smoke, And the water is polluted.
A world where the people are cruel, And the love is lost. A world where hope is a stranger, And despair is the norm.
I have seen another world, And I wish I could forget it. But I know that I can't, Because it is a part of me now.
I am haunted by the memories Of that dark and twisted place. And I know that I will never be the same.
I am a stranger in this world, And I don't know where I belong. But I know that I can't go back to that other world, Because it is a place of nightmares.
I am stuck in between two worlds, And I don't know how to escape. But I know that I have to try, Because I can't live in fear forever.
