heres my attempt at nightcrawler in a more comic book style. i remember in the x-men movies they made him very religious. at least i think they did lol. anyways thats the reason for him being by a church. nightcrawler is owned by marvel of course.Related content

Yea go right ahead, just make sure to credit me as the penciler with a link to the original pencils if you post it anywhere. Also if you go back to the image you can press download somewhere on the right and you can use that file to color it.

Awesome perspective use and background details. I like the upper body much more than I like the lower body, though. His upper body is pretty much flawless. But there might be some foreshortening problems with the bent legs. Rest of the pic is incredible.

thanks for the critique. i agree the upper body is drawn better, but ya cant win everything, just gotta work with what ya got. im not as familiar with the anatomy of legs as i am with the torso and arms so i guess i need to study up on that region anyways.

I have problems with legs when they're bent in the same angles, too. But that upper body is really tight. You pretty much got that down.

yea its a tricky angle since we don't usually see a person doing this. but figure drawing will help with that.

lol i know it's crazy, but i just wanted to try it out. It's almost finished too but its a pain. i figured it'd keep a graphic look with that program and it'd bring a different look to comics, but you'd have to be an illustrator beast for this to be practical.

Nightcrawler is the coolest x-men character in my opinion so I always love to see well done art of him. I would also be interested in doing a color version if you wouldn't mind sending a hi-res version. Great job!
