Why is it posted in Macabre and Horror? because everything in this world is bloody, bleeding. What, you don't think the tentacle stuck through her heart is macabre enough?
this picture is a window into my soul. So run in the other direction if you wish; I am not so beautiful inside. The plant is my take on ~Love of Angels' personification of depression. It has torn my heart out, and I cannot feel but cold and numbness. The bleeding rose is life itself, for I do cling to it. Glasses, signifying the clarity with which I used to view the world, lie shattered on the ground. A Raven (the messenger of Death) caws once for me. Yet even the ground of this barren land is bloodstained and red, because this is the land of lost souls. perhaps my idea of decemberunderground? The man in the background is both leaving and coming, depending on whether the viewer still feels hope. And lastly, as my one definite hope for a better time to come, you'll note these wings aren't broken, yet.

the title is a reference to The Love Letter, by Blaqk Audio (no, REALLY??) so here are the lyrics:

What could you see? What could you find? If we meet please avert your eyes. What I'd never show, what you'll never find is explosive so hide your eyes. What should mean nothing to you has left a poison running straight from your lips and into (lead to) the poison I'm becoming. Walk right through me, I'm not really there. Once it meant something to me. I find it rather stunning. I draped it in cold and in clarity. It's true, I find the look becoming. It's a day gone away. Turn away from the day, it's explosive.
