I wasn't sure which category to put this in. This drawing was more of a traditional art rather than digital since I drew all of that with pen and ink.Anyways, I did this about four to five months when I was taking an illustration class. This was my first pen and ink drawing that I did.
Phoenix has always been my favorite fantasy animal ^____^

Another lovely picture of the Fiery Bird of Rebirth. To be honest, a darker background would probably suit my tastes but I'm just being picky.

Reminds me of when we do Printmaking... you know, scratch into plastic like sheet your drawing, put paint within parts that you want to have that colour.. wipe off the excess, and squish/roll it onto the mat to produce your final picture

This is marvelous. I like the design of the phoenix. It looks halfway between being a raptor and prey bird. A wonderful mixture of the two.

that is such an awesome phoenix concept, I love how the tail feathers are all large and spread and soft-looking. fantastic textuire on the feathers in general. and the line colours! such a nice touch

Has the phoenix really been? I honestly don't know myself what mythological creature I love most, but Phoenix is definitely up there. It's a symbol I like to use in my original stories time and time again. They're fascinating, aren't they? :3 Love it!

No, seriously, it is a very beautiful and well-drawn picture.
The details on the feathers are very impressive and there's a lot of work visible in the colours you chose.
The gentle shift from red to yellow adds life to the creature.
