According to your 1st Q., I warmly recommend psdtuts.com, they got some good Manipu. tuts.. just check it.
Secondly, I just used Photoshop to edit the stocks and putting them 2gether.
To my mind, the selection of the right stocks is most importand.. Putting them 2gether is just monoton work... I think so :/
