Woah, damn. Every other Cid Raines cosplayer I've met, or seen online has just bought the costume online and changed it a bit.... You made this?! o.O Like from scratch?! That is mindblowing.
I was going to say you were the best Cid Raines cosplayer anyway, even if you did buy this online- because you have the hair perfect, look the part, and just seem to really have the character personality down. But now...I don't even know what to say. O.O

You're confused?... Well, what I meant was, when I saw the photo, I didn't know if you bought this or made this. I kind of thought you bought it though, because everybody else that I know of who has done Cid Raines has bought the costume. It just makes it even more amazing that you actually MADE this yourself and didn't buy it. I don't even have the words to describe my awe. I mean, making my Jihl costume was a lot of work, but even if someone paid me $1000 I don't think I'd try making a Cid Raines costume, because there's so much detail!
What did you use for those silver shiny parts? Is that ribbon, or fabric, or some kind of fabric paint?... It's amazing looking.
And eh... Mine is okay. My sister always manages to look much better though. -.-
