Description
So, this was my extra credit for my English class. It's stupid and crappy and such, but I'm kinda fond of it. And the teacher liked it, and that's all that matters. It's cut off a bit, I apologize. My scanner wasn't big enough and I suck at scanning.
Oh, and the 'witch bulls' thing. Calling people is just a Philly thing apparently. So, I guess that clears things up in case any of you got confused at that.
Done in Micron pens.

Hahaha I love it. Especially the bit with the Malcolm/Macduff scene, which I always thought was hilarious, and "Put on my armor! Take it off! Put it on! take it off! What are you doing you fool put on my armor!" I always thought he was a bit frenetic in that scene.

I feel sorry for the guy Malcom was talking to (I forget his name.) the poor guy's trying to convince himself that anything's better than Macbeth, when Malcom's talking about rape and stealing money and land...
Macbeth attacks with sword! it's not very effective....
Macduff attacks with C-section plot twist! it's very effective! (of course, I can't really remember how the Pokemon dialog for attacks goes, since I've never played before...)

This is so awesome! I heart Macbeth. Well, technically my favorite character is Macduff, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE that play! And this is just plain old amazing.
I love how you drew the characters! And Banquo's ghost band-aid is incredible.

They stab Banquo anywhere. It's just "Banquo dies", really~

Ah. That would allow for some, erm, creative interpretations of the stabbing - that is, taking "anywhere" as "everywhere, and repeatedly."

Pretty much, haha. All the scripts I'm reading currently (I have two online scripts, and one physical study script) say either "They set upon BANQUO" or "They attack BANQUO", and don't specify a place. So, they could really just go to town on killing him.

If I ever end up directing a production of Macbeth, I'm going to have them extend it into a ten-minute scene viewed entirely as silhouettes. This will accomplish two things;
1. Expanding on the comedic aspect of the play by ridiculously overdoing Banquo's death, and
2. Keeping the gore down in the cheapest way possible.

You sure you'd like to expand on the comedic elements in Banquo's death scene? Seeing as how it's such a dark scene?
Though silhouettes is a good idea. It does keep the gore down and it's also a dramatic way of leaving it up to the audience.

I always thought Banquo's death was too short to really be all that dark. In the written version, it came across as stab'n'done, pretty much. Which is overbalanced by the porter being awesome.

Lixa123 In reply to Excalibur-T005 [2010-10-08 16:30:47 +0000 UTC]
It's short but it's still kind of "Oh shit, did Macbeth just order Banquo dead?"

Yes, but if done right, one could do what Monty Python did to Arthurian legends.

"The queen killed herself!" "Whatever."
I was in a production of Macbeth as Lady Macbeth, and I always got PO'd by how unemotional the guy playing Macbeth was after I died. This is really funny and Macbeth is very cute.
