Description
A fashion illustration thing i did for my work.Took forever, and i did it on a laptop that exploded four times a day. literally, it would just shut down with no warning. I came to appreciate my computer a lot during that time.

well everything is good...here back home in santa monica...evan is a gossip queen...but i bet he doesn't gossip about his shitty relationship with marissa...oh well...the new job is o.k. but i've been applying to places to do some graphics on apparel...but no word yet...i read that you're christmas was good, as was mine...i got "abbey road" and "rubber soul" (the beatles) albums on vinyl from the 60's...that was exciting!!!! well talk to you later hope your boy is doing well...remember the love you make is equal to the love you take...

I have said this before, you have amazing fashion sense. I love the hair styles, and the jeans look great. The poses are perfect and I hear you about the computer. My scanner is dead, and I miss it a lot right now.

It's not a change of style, per se, just a fashion illustration. That whole genre has some very specific guidelines about model size, proportion, pose etc... I think the main thing that makes the pic look a little different that some others in my gallery is the amount of detail. When i'm illustrating real items, i need them to look just like they do in life, so i had to replicate washes, stitching, logos, all that. I also used a book for reference that a friend gave me and it turned out to be very helpful, if you like the style i really suggest you check it out. it really walks you step by step through illustrating the models and the clothes. I forget the name but i'll find out for you if you're interested.

Fashion Sketchbook by Bina Abling. third edition, hehe. its huge and expensive and very thorough. i reccomend it.

nah, this is photoshop cs. I don't have painter at my disposal. But i do use opencanvas sometimes which is sort of the cheap basic version.

not being very fashion savvy I can't really comment on the clothing too much... but you did an excelent job with the picture
