Meltdown was THE best batman beyond episode! Aside from Splicers, Blood Sport, and the Rebirth episodes XP

Admin speaking: Yes It really moved me although the one thing I hated about the episode is that they only brought him back just so they could kill him off in the end. Although there is a lesson that should be learned in that episode, for blights sake he should never fuck with a man who has nothing to lose especially Mr. freeze.

Well..they couldn't just keep him on as stock villain. Actually, they could, but it would greatly diminish the quality of the character. If you've noticed.. from the original BTAS to the new batman/superman adventures all of the typical villains who weren't 'killed off' were reduced to little more than caricatures. Whereas, during their original appearances, they had less provincial motivations and more pathos. So, i believe it was fitting that he was eliminated(he had no stake left in the world anyway).
