I think it's the way that you flesh out the faces/skin tones so they become 3D, but the abstract shapes are bright and 2D. It's similar to Klimt, but not exactly the same at all!
I keep coming back to your page, it's such amazing work and very inspiring. It would be fantastic if you had an FAQ page that explained the paints, materials and other tools that you use. And if you had prints available

2 question's
1. I was wondering what brand of pencil or colored pencil do you use?
2. and did you blend the face with pencils or colored pencil and if you didn't what did you use then to get realistic vibrant color in there.

All of the skin is Prismacolor colored pencil
Then Caren Douche water-soluble wax pastels on top of that.
