Description
Here is the last I painting I did for Rankin's Hunger Magazine. It's an illustration of Tilda Swinton (probably my favorite one out of the serious)
Painted on Rives bfk paper
done with: Watercolor
Prismacolor Pencil
Acrylics
Water-Soluble Oil Pastels
Digital touch ups and color correction, as well as a lot of digital color adjustment on her shirt.
Original photograph for reference provided by Rankin. creator/owner of Hunger Magazine
Also, I started an Instagram yesterday. Look for @erikjonesart

ahh yeah i looked on their site and the product descriptions are a little confusing. i can't see where is specifically says "water-soluble Wax Pastel". i'm eager to try these. they have gotten a lot of great reviews. thank you so much for responding btw! you're a cool dude.

do you put your wax pastels on top of the color pencil?? or do you just use the wax pastels for the skin? you get the skin to look so silky smooth it's so impressive! your art is very inspiring and beautiful. thanks!
