Hmmm. A great subject, but a lack of appropriate focus (camera is focused on hands and not face) and the amount of camera noise suggests that this could have been improved on by taking one's time to reset the camera settings. I've seen much more promising quality at low light come from the Nikon D3100 before, so it isn't an issue with the camera. You should redo this, same pose, same subject, same everything - just experiment with the settings a bit. That's just my
Otherwise, at first glance, I like it. If it was critique-able, I'd say 3.5, possibly 4 stars max.
