This is one of your better pieces.
The crispness of the black and white version really helps to accentuate the lines that make up the face, and to downplay other body parts as nothing more than framing elements. I like it.
It seems to me that you've also smoothed some of the skin in your post-production work. Primarily on the cheeks, perhaps, maybe while highlighting there? Though it is on the verge of being too magazine-polished, I think it works well in this case.
If I had a request, it would be that the focus had allowed you to include his hair and fingers. They seem too out of focus for my taste, given how closer we are to him and the crispness of the eyes.
I like this piece very much and applaud you for the accomplishment.
