So once upon a time there was a pair of guys ( www.he-man.org/forums/boards/s… ) who took the old knockoff Galaxy Warriors / Galaxy Fighters toys, mixed them with some MotU parts, and created their own custom figures and vision of Preternia (the ancient era of Eternia, during the time of He-Ro / King Grayskull). They called their "line" CotU (Customs of the Universe).

That inspired the crap out of me.

So, here's my bootleg / knockoff of one of their ideas: Daton.

I guess Daton and Magnon were the same figure, basically, one just had blond hair, one dark. Most of what I found seemed to show Magnon as the blond, so I went with Daton as the dark-haired version. I'm not ultimately sure it matters either way.

I am kind of taking that basic idea and running with it. In my "backyard," Sunhawk was the ruler of Avion during this era, and Daton and Magnon were his sons.

This version reflects a half-human heritage and lack of physical wings, his ability to fly a product of his hereditary Avian magic.
