Description
Happy Halloween y'all!EDIT: tweaked the symbol in the background so you can actually see it ... you can kinda see the "leaves" better too. I guess.
EDIT2: he's not Skeletor's restless spirit - the tagline is more in the sense that he serves Skeletor (like Faker's tagline was "Evil Robot of Skeletor")
That was just his original tagline from the vintage figure.

He's not Skeletor's ghost in the sense that he's Skeletor's restless spirit - more in the sense that he serves Skeletor/Skeletor "owns" him.
That was just his original tagline from the vintage figure (much like Faker's was "Evil Robot of Skeletor").

According to the 200x Halloween special, he was the ruler of some nightmare dimension. Skeletor summoned him to Eternia to (of course) destroy He-Man. Scareglow was placed under one of Skeletor's spells to keep him under control. Scareglow was defeated (of course) and that broke the spell on him. He could've went back to his dimension, but he enjoyed the taste of fear that the Eternians "released".

I thought it was something like that - I've been toying with the idea of re-drawing him and giving him the tagline "Evil Master of Fear."
It's more intimidating and less confusing.

That's actually the tagline they gave him in one of the 200x comics. It was in either the Icons of Evil or the Encyclopedia.

Great take on the old bone-reaper, your style is really funny looking without lacking of proportions and realistic poses. Glad to see new art from you.

you're back! glad to see it, man.
i confess i'm surprised you went almost completely vintage, rather than your usual mix of vintage + 200x. but regardless of stylistic heritage, this pic is awesome!

Well, the vintage/MotUC look is mostly because I have little-to-no reference for 200x Scareglow. I've never actually seen him.
I think he was in one "Dream Halloween" special, but I've not seen it or been able to find pics from it, so ...
Anyway, glad you like it!

this is the only reference i can find of 200x SG: [link] his weapon is cut off, but i believe its a full traditional scythe.
more importantly: who's next on your drawing board?
