Nightcrawler / Kurt Wagner of the X-Men.

I could have gone the same route I went with Beast and had his hands and feet exposed, but I wanted something different for Nightcrawler.

He doesn't have claws or powers that require skin-to-skin contact, so there was no need to have his appendages exposed.

His musculature (other than his appendages) is essentially human, so I decided to go the glove / boot route. In my head I'm kind of associating those with characters who might engage more often in hand-to-hand combat, so theoretically they could provide additional protection (at the very least, another layer of sturdy material between their skin and danger).

There ended up being more white on his uniform than is typical, but for some reason it's not bothering me.

Note: my prior version of Nightcrawler is now in my Scrapbook; I wasn't digging his hair.
