Description
My redesign of Sibyline for an upcoming redesign challenge over at he-man.org.I'm kind of jumping the gun on this one, since the current redesign challenge is still in the voting stage, but I knew where I wanted to go with her, so I figured I might as well get her done.
Anyway, Sibyline was a one-shot character from the old He-Man cartoon ("The Defection"); she started as a villain but turned to the side of good by the end of the episode.
In my backyard, if she were an action figure she'd share a lot of parts with my version of Shokoti . In fact, she'd almost be a straight-up repaint (different hands, re-tooled head, new hair).
If you compare, the bodice much more closely resembles her cartoon appearance than it does Shokoti's, but I thought it worked nicely for both of them.
I was always intrigued as a kid by the fact that she had a green shorty-version of Teela's snake staff ... I don't know exactly why.
To keep that serpentine connection, I kind of gave her a subtle scale-pattern (most visible on her shoulders and legs). I figure maybe she's got some snake-man blood somewhere in her ancestry or something.
Huh, lots of words for this one ... anyway, enjoy!

Wow, you definitely wasted no time on getting a concept down Jason ! I like how you gave her possible snake-men blood to maybe explain why she started out evil and turned good from the human in her (if that by the assumption that all snake-men are evil by nature). And yeah the snake wand coulud have been some attempt at re-creating Teela's staff of Kaa. Great Job
