May Sketch Post 2:I'm posting a few sketches I've done while warming up every day or surfing the web. Since most people don't check out the Scraps gallery I thought I'd post these here and then move them later. Enjoy!
Here's a quick Captain America sketch that went farther than I originally intended. hehehehe I stand behind the sentiment of the piece, too-- and I LOVE Hal Jordan.

Batman and Captain America are equals.
Thus, Captain America can take down Hal.

I have every issue of GL since the 60s... I love Hal, don't get me wrong. But Cap has defeated gods.

And so has Hal. He has done incredible things. The most impressive feat in my mind is when he just give Batman a right hook, you dont get more awesome than that(!) I would like to see Steve Rogers defeat all the GL Corp and reignite the sun. And if you do have every issue since the 60s then you know what Hal Jordan is capable of, and the immense powers of his ring. I gotta admit I'm a DC fanboy(when it comes to Supes, Bats, GL and Flash) so dont take this wrong. As I write this is kinda comical in mind, so dont get the impression that I am an angry fan boy or anything like that.
I dont read Marvel but I've tried. There is just something about it I dont like. No offence.

Hey, no worries! I was raised around comics, I know how easy it is to fall into rival camps of fandom.
As an unbiased fan, I gotta favor Cap on this one. That said, Hal as GL is my favorite DC character, so there ya go.

Ah, it does me heart good to see so many Cap fans...and though Green Lantern has the most potential in all the cosmos, he loses to the master! Great job!

Steve Rogers, who stares down Batman and is his equal while he commands geniuses, monsters, kings and gods at his side.
Hal Jordan...is an air jockey who's answer to all problems is make a giant green fist and punch really hard.
CASE CLOSED. Cap wins. Same for Guy (ONE PUNCH!) and even Kyle, with all his love for summoning Gurren and go nuts with the constructs.
Cap vs John though? That be an interesting fight, Army vs Marine

Army only by where he was released, though-- he was trained to master ALL forms of combat. I have a feeling it'd be a cool fight, but Cap wins again!

Late on the bus, but this sketch contains so much truth I just had to comment. Hal Jordan's my favourite DC character, for sure, and he is incredibly awesome. But Cap is, well, Cap. He doesn't need powers to end up victorious every time.

hehehe Trust me on this one-- if Bucky, Hal Jordan, Aunt May, Phoenix, Cyclops, Professor X, etc etc etc-- can come back from the dead, they'll bring back Steve. Just hang in there.

Give it about five years. Colossus was dead about that long, and Phoenix pops up after about that long after passing.
