Still have a lot of pieces I kinda like from the 2011 convention season. ENJOY!Drawn on cardstock with blue pencil. A definite convention favorite of mine.
Benjy is always fun to draw and even though he never racks up a big number of faves here on deviantArt when I post a Thing sketch? They're still what I consider some of my best work. Oh well. :/

I tend to agree it seems very like a very natural treatment of Thing, traditional with the texture seeming almost old-school Kirby style. Love the wide lines, drives me crazy to see things overdone (which seems to be in style), though it may work on some characters the Thing is meant to be rough and blocky. I dunno, it just seems like he was meant to be done. Nice work, keep it up.
