Description
I really felt like posting some artwork today, so here's 1 of 3 for the 30th of January, 2009.Here's a Wolverine (of X-Men fame, obviously) sketch. I'm drawing a commission of the 90s X-Men right now, so this was kind of a warm-up for the fun. I think the commission will look pretty cool-- I can't wait to show it around.
Anyway, here it be. Enjoy!

hehe Agreed-- Wolverine: First Class has been great of late, so I've been back on a "How cool is Wolvie" kick.

Wolver...ine? Looks pretty good. I think the character has some legs, maybe we'll see him again in comics someday.

I dunno, he's such a one-trick pony. As long as they don't overexpose him, he'll do fine.

Nah, I think they'd probably only use him once in a while. I doubt he'd ever show up in every book or something.

Off-character, we were talking about Wolverine on Skype the other day, and wondering just HOW thin he's being spread these days-- especially with the movie coming. I went to Marvel.com and typed in Wolverine...
Not even counting team books-- just with ones that have Wolverine IN the title? It had to be 30 or more. Seriously. Separate titles, not issues.
Crazy.

Yeah, I believe it. I bet when we count the books at the shop we'd see him in almost every book every week. Not that I'm complaining, I'm a big Wolverine fan, but that is a bit overkill, haha.

There's so many incarnations of the Blue and Yellow, why not a redesign with brown and tan?!

I'd do that in a heartbeat. That'd be cool. With less absurdly-placed seams.
