The head looks awesome, it has amazing depth. I also like the way the hair frames the face.
But the body could use some more shading because it looks a bit flat compared to the head. But judging from your Artist's Comments, I bet you already knew.
Meh, I haven't made any serious art in a long time, but this starts getting me a bit in the mood again.

I absolutely agree with you. But i think the face also needs work, the entire picture really just falls apart in my head really, the original sketch was not worked out well enough, thus ruining the final. I don't think shading could help, its a matter of the structure of the anatomy, angles, and weight distribution. The best way is probably to start over. Which i will probably have to do.

I guess you're right, because I don't have as much experience as you by far. xD
The reason I said shading was because I thought the correct light-dark contrasts where one of the key points in making the head work. But I noticed some parts of the body, notably the upper legs and lower torso, only have minimal shading when compared to the head. So I guess I thought "that must be it".
And only now I realize she actually has a hood!

heheh no worries, thats still a relevant question, in terms of building HER specific character up more. This is pretty general. WHICH IS PRETTY BAD! i should have "turn arounds" and poses as well, which i dont. I didnt push myself or manage my time very well in that class. CHEERS!
