About the Project:

I'm working on a Project series [Project name pending], where the world/series is full of characters that I've adopted. Sort of working on it like a puzzle, piecing the characters and their backstories together in the world so that they may fit in some way or another (could argue that it's sort of a self-inflicted challenge).

I had an idea that people will also be able to use the characters that I adopt and put them in their own fan stories, fan art, etc. while I and others would still be able to use the characters as well. (You could think of it perhaps like how people are allowed to use SCP characters in their stuff, or even Touhou [or Five Nights Freddy's?] [or I think you're allowed to last I checked?]?)

The terms for using the characters that I've adopted may vary due to the adopts coming from different people with their own terms of use, but hopefully when I can put the information about the adopted characters on something like ToyHouse (when the website becomes available publicly) or something of the sort, it'll be a lot clearer about them. Also planning to eventually allow people to use the adopted characters commercially and in SFW and NSFW stuff (where the terms of use allow it) when it all gets sorted out.

I adopted a decent few characters already, however they're not always cheap to buy, so I'm setting up a means to allow people to give a donation for this project via the commission widgets (alternatively you can also donate via the "Reimu's Donation Box" on my DeviantArt homepage as well [you can specify if your donation is only for the "adopt project" or not], if you'd like) so that I can be sure to be able to buy them and make it possible for others in the future to use the adopted characters.

To entice people's interested in this, I also thought it'd be nice to work on a "goal reveal" thing. Basically I'm making boxes with characters inside, and when a set goal is met, I'll draw the character that's inside into an art piece. The characters in these boxes aren't adoptables, they're my OCs so they'll probably not appear in the Project (but I may still do something else with them? I got to think on it.). Not sure if the art of the OCs that I make for the reveals will be SFW, NSFW, or both (hopefully both?).

Sorry if any of this is confusing, doesn't make sense, or if I left something out. Feel free to ask questions or let me know your thoughts or ideas (or even sending me a note/chat suggesting characters that are available for adopting that might be nice to see in this project.).
