This might be my painting of the year.

I've been dealing with a lot of things all time and I've felt that going to this safe place surrounded by nature helped me a lot. And, of course, in a way or another, that transported it to my paintings. Obviously technique is something that I've been improving along the way but what I like the most about this painting is that it completely reflects the peace I find when I go to that place. This is not 100% accurate to the original place because I wanted to create a "secret" place that was even more magical where anyone can enter if they are struggling with something and just want some peace.

In a way, if this doesn't reflect my love and what I feel in my soul, I don't know what will ^^

I hanged this painting on my wall, next to a digital one I did years ago and that reflected a "stormy" time of my life.
Even though sometimes we may find ourselves in a darker moment of our lives, it won't last forever. We need to find what gives us peace to make it through.
