I like that you've made Celly with darker skin, it's more logical since she's out in the sun all day.

I looove your drawing style!! and it makes total sense for their skin to be that color too. Celestia works with the sun and Luna works with the moon. and even though they make Luna's skin dark because of the night and celestia's white because of the day, isn't fair skin usually associated with lunar characters, and people who go out at night? and darker skin is associated with people who stay in the sun?
I don't get why a lot of people hate on Celestia when she has dark skin. >.> It's racist.

Because the balance of opposites is appealing. Luna governs the darkness, but has fair skin, while Celestia shines in the light but has dark skin.
