Description Finally finished Her face was based on the beautiful Amy Lee of Evanescence, which I sketched, added to, and then worked from that. You can see both linked below

Vectoring the roses and then duplicating it all to make the background pattern made my computer want to die I sooo need a new one lol

Vector is a medium which is infinitly scalable without loss of quality, and is made from 'points' rather than being pixel-based, and is usually made with a pen tool. Only certain programs have vector capability, such as Adobe Illustrator which is the most popular for vector work. I only have Photoshop, which has vector capabilities but isn't a vector-based program. I'm probably rambling now anyway, vector is a medium, like paint or pencil... the art is made from vectors
