well i did it on my Wacom Tablet on photoshop CS5, and the only tools i used were the unsharp mask, burn, and dodge tool. the photo was in monochrome. so when i put it in for editing, i used the dodge tool to highlight every area that was hit by light, then i used the burn tool to deepen the shadows. Does this help?
