This is a quick drawing tutorial I put together for my students.
It's about the process of drawing/painting.
Capturing the gesture of the figures and their 'line of action' comes first. Then comes the blocking of the shadows.
In my opinion, these are the 2 most important steps of the whole drawing/painting process. The finished version (adding the colors/values) will only look good if a lot of attention is paid to the first steps.
