.....so since Friday at the Big Apple Comic Con was so slow, I had a chance to get this cover drawn. I couldn't come up with a good idea for you guys and the poll you voted on, so I threw Cyclops in the mix and I think it helped with the image.I ended up giving this image away. Someone earlier wanted to buy it for 25$ and I asked if he'd be willing to pick it up at the end of the show so I could have it to show people what I could do. He declined, so I held on to it, but a nice gentleman by the name of Mike saw this image and throughout the day kept bringing me more and more covers to draw for him!
It ended up being a lot more than I could do at the con so I offered to bring them home, mail them to him, and instead of getting a sketch on the cover, he could get a finished pencil drawing like this. He agreed and is awaiting his art in the mail. He actually got this graded (I don't know the grade yet) but I will be mailing the finished new pieces to him to get graded as well, and I can't wait to find out how well it turns out=]

what is funny is that since last week, i have been texting with these 2 girls back and forth and they apparently knew my comic work through SPLASH and they love my work >___< .... unbelievable!!

we shall really cross our fingers on my table approval letter. so far, no response from them yet >__< .... after i get it, lets hope they will let us pair up. if yes, wow ... guess i shall try doing some american stuff too, though i have a feeling the result might end up kinda hybridy (is that even a word haha?)?

ain't nothing wrong with hybrid styles and images, thats how things grow outside of themselves. They;ve already done Marvel stuff in Manga style, why not some more? Speaking of which I am going to watch the batman Anime tonight=]
I hope you hear from them soon.... I applied for the chicago con, which is with the same people..... don't know why but hope it goes through. I am going to be applying for a lot of con's, i'll let you know and see if you wanna come to the States for any and we can double up=]

Awesome! The pose you picked for Cyclops is interesting, different from what I've seen before - very nice.
